Supporting independent research
Biotia is supporting studies investigating the clinical impact and utility of clinical metagenomic-based diagnostics. Biotia is open to proposals from independent investigators to study the impact of our products and may provide funding to projects that align with our research priorities.
Studies of interest include:
Prospective studies comparing the performance of standard urine culture and/or other diagnostic tests to the BIOTIA-ID Urine Test, with a focus on the impacts on clinical decision-making and patient health outcomes
Studies on the BIOTIA-ID Urine Test in specific patient cohorts, such as catheterized patients, pregnant patients, and others
Healthcare economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies for clinical metagenomic-based diagnostics
