Dr. Gábor Fidler is a Bioinformatics Engineer at Biotia, where he designs and implements computational pipelines and software solutions for the company's metagenomic data analysis and infectious disease diagnostics. He works across pipeline development, taxonomic classification, antimicrobial resistance prediction, and quality control of NGS data, supporting Biotia's BIOTIA-DX, BIOTIA-ID, and GeoSeeq platforms.
Dr. Fidler earned his PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Debrecen in Hungary. He holds expertise in molecular diagnostics and cell biology, with research topics encompassing PCR assay development for invasive fungal infections, microbiome studies, and experimental models of mesenchymal stem cell differentiation and endothelial dysfunction in diabetes.
