David Danko

As CTO, Dr. Danko leads the team in software engineering and designing pipelines for microbial diagnostics from NGS data. Dr. Danko completed his Ph.D. at Weill Cornell Medicine where he researched the impact of environmental microbiomes on human health. Prior to this, he earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he also studied at the Oxford Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology.

His current research projects are focused on understanding the immune response to environmental microbes and the impact of microbiomes on human spaceflight, as well as improved microbial diagnostics from NGS.
